A new word, wherein: An existing word’s fixes, pre- and suf-, have been deconstructed and individually considered for their add of essential meaning versus their burden against the reader’s lucidity, and the reassembled root and fixes are proposed to communicate more expediently the essential meaning of the original word.

Also Defix, verb. To strip down a word to its roots, removing inessential bits.
